Passport’s Feel Good Video of the Week: Keep Dancing!

Matt Harding is the 35-yard-old man who produced and stars in the new viral video “Where the Hell is Matt? 2012” that was released yesterday. Matt, who is from From Seattle, Washington, thinks Americans need to travel abroad more, and he shows us the beauty and fun we can have in his viral video series.

He originally posted a video online of himself dancing (badly) in locations around the world in 2005 as a goof for friend and family. That video became semi-viral and caught the attention of people at Stride Gum, and they asked him if he’d be interested in taking another trip around the world to make a new video. In 2006, he took a six-month trip through 39 countries on all the continents, where he danced and recorded  the places he visited. As soon as that video went viral, Matt’s fame grew. So he went back to Stride with the idea of going on a trip around the world again, but this time inviting the people who had written him from around the world to join him to dance. The people at Stride agreed this was a good idea, creating another viral video that came out in 2008. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Check out the latest video after the jump and see for yourself the magic of dance from around the world. Thank you Matt!
