What better way to show your stance on equality than to paste it right on the side of an airplane? In support of the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras, Qantas has evolved their kangaroo logo to a rainbow flag on their newest Gay330 AirBus. The change in logo is a significant reminder that they are dedicated to marriage equality, which is still an issue being debated in the country. The plane spread its wings for the first time Friday morning.
The decision to fly their pride shouldn’t come as a big surprise, the company isn’t new to the LGBT scene, flight attendants are known to have a blast dancing on the Qantas flight during Mardi Gras,
A big thank you to everyone involved in the #sydneymardigras from the #RainbowRoo crew on the #Gay380 – and a big shout out to Courtney Act who made us sparkle even more! Can't wait until next year!
