Ryanair’s Latest Bad Idea—Mile-High Porn

We’ve heard some crazy things come out Ryanair chief Michael O’Leary (stand-up seats, coin-operated bathrooms), but this one takes the cake—or the umm…OK, it’s too not PG-13 to make a pun here. O’Leary wants to launch a pay-per-view pornography service. Well we have to give him some credit, he’s actually expanding in-flight entertainment here, even if it will make for some awkward flights. The service would be available for customers with iPads or smartphones. They’d be able to launch an app that would allow them to stream content.

“I’m not talking about having it on screens on the back of seats for everyone to see. It would be on handheld devices. Hotels around the world have it, so why wouldn’t we?” he told the Sun.

With seats already so cramped on the Irish carrier leading us to physical discomfort, we can’t imagine having to also feel uncomfortable sitting next to someone watching mile-high porn. [DailyMail]
