Finally the United States Senate is taking action to ensure that travelers get to their destinations on time and safely! It was announced yesterday evening that the Senate unanimously approved the budgeting of $253 million to bring the air-traffic control system back up to full strength. The money, according to the New York Times will be sourced from other parts of the Transportation Department and given to the FAA. The fund will be enough to stop any further furloughs and allow airports to operate efficiently through Sept. 30.
