Gay ski week season is almost here! From heli-skiing to wild, hot tub parties, every ski event offers something different for LGBT snow bunnies. Though, there is one gay ski week this year that stands out among the rest. The Matthew Shepard Gay Ski Week will be having its inaugural event in Crested Butte, Colorado. StarightOut Media and Marketing who aren’t unfamiliar with planning snowtacular events (they planned Telluride Gay Ski week) have been planning for more than a year to offer an unforgettable week. From March 19-26, 2011 you’ll enjoy world-class snow activities, special events like costume skiing, scrumptious meals at the resort or out on the town, and nightly parties! Feel good while enjoying all these fun events as a portion of all the proceeds go to the Matthew Shepard Foundation.
We still have some time before the event kicks off, and in order to promote this good cause/good time and raise some more money for the organization and the event itself, the fine folks at Matthew Shepard Gay Ski Week are throwing parties across the county. Grab a few drinks, meet fellow skiers, and plan your trip to Colorado at the kick-off events “Shoot the Butte.” The first get together will take place at Boxers in NYC on November 1 from 6-8. Did we mention that
The A-List Star Lance Bass’ ex-boyfriend, Reichen Lehmkuhl, will be there?
Follow-up events will take place in Dallas, TX on November 4, West Hollywood on December 4, and Denver sometime in January 2011.
