If there’s a better way to fly to Switzerland than in Business Class on board SWISS International Air Lines, we don’t know it. The seats are divine (yes we’re raving about airplane seats), the service is impeccable, warm, and friendly, but the real star of the show is the Taste of Switzerland culinary concept.

Taking fine dining into the skies, the SWISS Taste of Switzerland features renowned Swiss chefs and their local specialties. The products are locally or regionally cultivated and produced, of course, and the food is some of the highest rated in Switzerland. Meat and cheese from grass-fed Alpine cattle? Standard. Family recipes from chefs hailing from Michelin-starred restaurants? Naturally. The SWISS Taste of Switzerland concept has even been honored with the renowned Mercury Award. Let’s not forget that the featured region changes quarterly.

Nobody’s joking about this airline food—they’re too busy stuffing themselves and asking for seconds.

From September to November 2014 SWISS First and Business passengers on intercontinental flights departing from Switzerland will be able to enjoy the creations of Chef Siegfried Rossal. Awarded 15 Gault-Millau points, Chef Rossal and his team at Restaurant Cocon offer a light gourmet cuisine using local ingredients and an interplay of flavors, accompanied by fine wines and set in an exquisitely designed space.

Experience this in-flight nirvana on SWISS.
