For the first time in Washington D.C. Pride’s (Capital Pride’s) history the US Armed Forces color guard will march in front of 150,000 people in the city’s famous gay district, Dupont Circle. The Department of Defense authorized the militaries’ gay rights groups to participate. This historic participation represents the dramatic change in lesbian and gay rights in the Untied States military, even since President Obama abolished the long-standing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. The eight-persons team will help kick-off the parade, after Dykes on Bikes.

Down in D.C. this weekend, be sure to stop by and say hello to Passport.
