Indiana Governor Mike Pence signed the Religious Freedom Act into law on March 26, 2015. Shortly after, a few Indiana businesses publicly announced their refusal to serve LGBT customers or to cater to same-sex marriages. Memories Pizza, in Walkerton Indiana, was one of the the very first to draw national attention for their open display of bigotry.

In quiet retaliation, Robin Trevino, a comedian from Chicago, decided to prank Memories Pizza by having them unknowingly cater his gay wedding. His videotaped trickery was a a small victory for the LGBT community in exposing unabashed bigotry. He and his husband married in September of this year with pizza galore thanks to Memories. Unaware of this stunt, the strong Christian pizza parlor ended up betraying their vow.
