The runaway hit, and Emmy-winning Crazy Ex-Girlfriend has been breaking all sorts of boundaries with its positive messages about feminism and breaking through stereotypes. The CW show already aired the first television musical number about bisexuality and showed main Rebecca Bunch (Rachel Bloom) land a sweet dance-floor kiss on her rival. It has also been praised for its casting of lead Vincent Rodriguez who for many is one of the first Asian American actors to be cast as a show’s leading hunk (though John Cho played romantic lead in the short lived Selfie just last year).
The 34-year-old actor, who plays the reason Rebecca Bunch moves to West Covina, California, is also gay. The actor Tweeted an adorable collage of he and his husband Gregory Wright enjoying their one-year anniversary at Disneyland!
