Volvo Creates Gay- and Lesbian-Headed Family Parking Spaces

Volvo teamed up with a shopping mall in London to show off its inclusivity by creating parking spaces for all sorts of people and families. The series of parking spaces at the Westfield Shopping Centre include spots for the elderly, single parents, opposite-sex parents, and others.

The campaign is meant to promote the new V60 model that launched on July 9 and is being called “The New Family Model.” :

“The introduction of the new V60 gives us the ideal opportunity to celebrate the modern family in all its guises,” said Mike Johnstone, marketing strategy director, Volvo Car UK.
