Patrick Haggerty grew up in the 1950s in Washington. He later went on to form a band called Lavender Country, whose self-titled 1973 album is the first known gay-themed album in country music history. In this storyboard narrative, Haggerty recalls an incredible real-life story about his dairy farmer father whose main advice was “don’t sneak.”
