Kesha has released a new single called ‘True Colors,” her own spin on a song originally done by master producer Zedd. After teaming up at Coachella this year for one of the festival’s biggest performances, Kesha is giving fans a new look at what the pair has been working on in-studio.
“True Colors” is the artist’s first new music release since her civil suit against former producer Dr. Luke shot her name into headlines, disallowing her to release any new music under her label, Sony Music. Making good of his promise to produce Kesha’s new music, Zedd’s latest co-release is already being called one of the best songs of the year.
“All my life, one page at a time, I’ll show you my, my true colors,” sings Kesha on the song’s chorus. Her true colors “ain’t no rainbow,” she says, but she sings them out nonetheless.
