Hawaii Restaurant Week Celebrates All-Star Chefs, Local Food, and Unique Flavors

How do you say full stomach in Hawaiian? You may find out after sampling some of the set-course menus on offer from some of Oahu’s most buzzed-about restaurants. Take for example, Chef Andrew Le’s Piggy Smalls, where diners can enjoy two shared appetizers (corn cake and fresh papaya salad), a choice of entree like the delicious shrimp, fresh herbs and veggie, and cold noodles, and a shake—all for $30. This is just one of the dozens of restaurants working to showcase their food and cocktails from now until Nov. 20. So if you find yourself in Honolulu, don’t be tempted by those chain restaurants, check out why it’s such an exciting time for Hawaiian chefs who are using local, seasonal foods.
