There are tons of sayings about the power of one person doing good, and this story about Afroz Shah from Mumbai proves that anyone anywhere can impact the world for the better. Shah couldn’t stand the pollution impacting his hometown beach that he would visit as a child. He slowly began cleaning up the pollution ashore and “…as of today, Shah and hundreds of volunteers have cleaned up over nine million kilograms of plastic and waste, with hopes to expand their initiative to other beaches in the future.”
