Hate Group Called One Million Moms Opposes Ellen DeGeneres’ JC Penney Ad

The appearance of Ellen DeGeneres in a Christmas commercial for JC Penny has upset the very vocal anti-gay conservative group One Million Moms. In response to the commercial, the group posted this statement on their website earlier in the week:

“Since April, JC Penney’s has not aired Ellen DeGeneres in one of their commercials until now. A new JCP ad features Ellen and three elves. JCP has made their choice to offend a huge majority of their customers again. Christians must now vote with their wallets.”

J.C. Penney’s has not been the only recent target of this hate group, Urban Outfitters has been attacked for their use of an image of two girls kissing in their catalogue, and Disney, ACE Hardware, Olive Garden, Revlon, L’Oreal and Fisher-Price have all been blasted for their support of the NBC television show The New Normal.

Watch the J.C. Penney commercial that raised such a fuss after the jump.
