A federal judge dismissed a legal challenge by a Minnesotan video company that wanted to only shoot weddings involving opposite-sex couples. The owners of Telescope Media Group, Carl and Angel Larsen, filed the lawsuit against the state’s human rights commissioner and attorney general who banned businesses from denying wedding services to same-sex couples on the basis of discrimination. The company claimed that the law was intended to “stamp out expression opposing same-sex marriage,” but the judge wasn’t having any of that.
