It’s been reported that a woman has been cured of HIV. She is only the third person ever to be fully cured of the virus, and the first woman. The measure, which passed by a vote of 157-1, makes it illegal for LGBTQ issues to be taught in school, for media to portray LGBTQ people, and it even bans advertisements that have LGBTQ themes. The answers were received prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, so they give a good indication of what women were feeling during relative “normal” times. A draft bill has entered Ghana’s parliament that will imprison everyone in the LGBTQ community and anyone who supports them.
